Seabird bycatch is a global conservation issue in marine ecosystems. In project LIFE Ilhas Barreira, partner CCMAR has been working with Algarve fishing communities to find solutions to mitigate this threat. In this workshop we will present the results of this work and experts coming from Europe and beyond will present several case studies on bycatch mitigation.
